About TheGamerCodex
A curated directory of gaming tools and resources, built by one gamer.
What it is
TheGamerCodex is a curated compendium of tools, creators, and resources for gamers. New games join the catalog once we've played them deeply enough to have informed opinions. Every entry is hand-reviewed: each tool is evaluated, each creator is picked for the quality of their output, each resource is there because it earns the click.
Who's behind it
I'm Gerson, a gamer who enjoys organizing information almost as much as playing. This started as a side project in 2026 because every time I picked up a new game I got tired of the "best tool for X" Google loop — drowning in SEO spam, abandoned sites, and generic guides. So I built the directory I wanted to find.
How we keep it honest
- No ads. No banners, popups, or ad network scripts. Period.
- No affiliates. When we link to a paid tool or a storefront, it's a direct link. We don't earn when you click.
- Open source. The entire site lives on GitHub. If you want to review what it does, suggest a change, or report a bug, the repo is public.
- No advertising tracking. We only use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless, anonymous, and aggregated. See the privacy policy for details.
How it stays current
Verifying URLs, descriptions, and catalogs across every game by hand would be hard to sustain alone. I use AI tools to speed up the repetitive parts — checking links, cross-referencing data between sources, translating between Spanish and English, regenerating inventories — but every editorial decision still goes through me: which tools belong, which creators get featured, which resources earn their spot. The plan is to keep growing: add more games and keep the existing ones up to date.
How to support
The most useful thing you can do is share it with other players of the game you care about. If you want to help cover hosting costs, there's a Ko-fi link in the footer. Zero pressure.
