AtlasForge (Elden Ring)

Interactive map + weapon database + build planner integrated on a single multi-game platform

FreeMulti-gameBeginner

What it is

AtlasForge is a multi-game platform (Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo 4, WoW Classic, etc.) that combines an interactive map + item/weapon database + build planner in a single web app. It lives at atlasforge.gg/elden-ring. Free, with optional Pro tier.

Unlike Map Genie which specializes in maps, AtlasForge integrates several features in the same UI. ER coverage includes the full Lands Between + the DLC's Realm of Shadow.

What it solves

For users who just want a basic map without paying, Map Genie has notable free-tier limitations (checkboxes don't persist, heavy ads). AtlasForge solves this with a more generous free tier: checkboxes persist even without Pro, and ads are less intrusive.

It also solves cross-tool jumping: when investigating an item, you typically open the map to locate it + a wiki for stats + a planner to see if it fits your build. AtlasForge has all three on the same page.

Differentiation

Against Map Genie, it loses on mobile app (AtlasForge is web-only; Map Genie has native apps) but wins on free tier and cross-feature integration. Against Fextralife wiki, it wins on modern UX; the wiki has more editorial detail but the UI is clumsier.

What people use it for

Free interactive map: see collectibles and NPCs without paying.

Weapon database lookup: weapon stats with scaling, weight, requirements directly from the map.

Build sharing: the integrated planner allows creating builds and sharing URLs.

Cross-game user: if you play Elden Ring + Cyberpunk + Diablo 4, one account covers all.

Cross-checking with Map Genie: when a collectible is ambiguous, comparing maps resolves it.

Who shouldn't use it

If your priority is mobile usage (playing with phone alongside), Map Genie is better — native apps vs responsive web.

If you want deeper item database (descriptions, lore, exact drop rates), Fextralife or wiki.gg are better.

If you only care about Elden Ring, AtlasForge's multi-game nature adds complexity you won't use.

How it's used in practice

  1. Visit atlasforge.gg/elden-ring.
  2. Create a free account (optional but useful for persistent checkboxes).
  3. Pick "Map" for interactive map, "Database" for weapons, "Builds" for planner.
  4. In map: filter by category to show/hide marker types.
  5. In database: search for weapon → see stats, scaling, requirements.
  6. In builds: create a build and share the URL.

Honest limitations

No native mobile app: web responsive only. For mobile companion during play, Map Genie has the edge.

Item database less deep than Fextralife: for drop conditions, lore, and detailed editorial notes, Fextralife is still more complete.

Multi-game can be confusing: nav includes other games; if you only want ER, it can feel cluttered.

Slower updates than Map Genie: at SOTE launch, AtlasForge took longer than Map Genie to add new markers.

Pro tier with fewer unique features: incentive to pay is weaker; most users stay on free.

How to start

  1. Visit atlasforge.gg/elden-ring.
  2. Create a free account if you want checkbox sync.
  3. Start with the map to understand the UI.
  4. Try the database and planner to see if they replace other tools you use.
  5. If you like it, consider Pro for support; otherwise, free tier is enough for most use.
