The Dota 2 toolkit

Dota 2 is one of the most complex games out there: 120+ heroes, thousands of item combinations, and a draft that can win the game before the first creep. The client gives you the bare minimum, so players who improve lean on external tools for each phase. This five-tool stack covers the full cycle without redundancy.

A game's cycle

In the draft, DotaPicker helps you counter-pick: which heroes answer what the enemy picked and which to avoid. Once you have your hero, Dota2ProTracker shows what pros are building and skilling on it right now —item and skill builds updated to the patch.

During the game, Dota Coach works as an overlay: hero-specific tips, rune timings, stacking reminders, and other things easy to forget in the heat of the match.

After playing, two complementary tools: Dotabuff is the classic stats hub —your per-hero win rate, match history, and opponent scouting— and STRATZ adds the interpretive layer with AI predictions, suggestions on what to improve, and a mobile app to review from your phone. Having both covers the "what happened" and the "what to do about it."
