Both are Genshin Impact progression planners but they aim at different workflows. Seelie.me is an integral planner with achievement tracking, per-character materials, and a companion app that syncs your in-game inventory. Genshin Center is focused on a simpler question: "what domain do I farm today given the characters I'm leveling".

Scope

Seelie.me covers multiple axes:

• Per-character material planning (talents, ascension, weapon ascension).
• Tracking of completed and pending achievements.
• Companion app that scans your in-game inventory via OCR.
• Shareable list of planned pulls.
• Total resin calculation per goal.

It's a tool for players who want to manage Genshin as a long project: "I want to build these 6 characters over the next 2 months, how much resin per week do I need?".

Genshin Center is more focused:

• List of characters you're leveling with their targets.
• Calendar of rotating domains (each day rotates which talents/weapon ascensions are available).
• Recommendation of what to farm today given your goals.

It's a tool to answer "it's Tuesday, what do I do with my resin?".

Setup friction

Genshin Center has low friction. You add the characters you want to level, mark target talents/ascension, and the calendar tells you what to do each day. Initial setup: 5-10 minutes.

Seelie.me has more setup. If you want it to be worth it, you download the companion app, scan your inventory, configure each character with current and target stats. Initial setup: 30-60 minutes. The payoff is higher because the planner knows what you have and what's missing — but the curve is real.

Companion app and sync

This is Seelie's distinctive feature. The companion app is a desktop tool (Windows) that detects your in-game inventory via OCR — characters, materials, weapons, artifacts. What it scans uploads to Seelie and the planners auto-deduct what you already have in stock.

This means when Seelie says "you're missing 35 Vajrada Amethyst Slivers for your Raiden target", the number already accounts for the 17 you already have in inventory. Genshin Center assumes you're keeping count by hand.

For players with many characters in progress, this sync saves hours of manual bookkeeping.

Achievement tracking

Seelie includes an achievement tracker with searchable UI: mark the completed ones and see what's left. For completionists it's useful.

Genshin Center doesn't cover this axis.

UI and mobile

Genshin Center is web-first with simple UI. Mobile-friendly but no companion app.

Seelie is also web-first, with an official mobile app. UI denser because it covers more things; navigation between sections (characters, achievements, wishes, pulls planning) can feel bloated at first.

Which to use

• Just want to know what to farm today → Genshin Center. Less setup, direct answer.
• Want to manage full progression for several characters → Seelie.me. Multi-character with aggregates.
• Need sync with in-game inventory → Seelie.me. Unique companion app.
• Track achievements → Seelie.me.
• Casual session without setup investment → Genshin Center.
• Months-out planning → Seelie.me.

In practice

Players with a single character in progress or who treat Genshin casually: Genshin Center is enough. Players with 5+ characters in progress who want achievement tracking and are comfortable with initial setup: Seelie.me is the more complete tool.

They're not mutually exclusive but they overlap enough that most people pick one. The real choice is how much setup investment you want to tolerate in exchange for how many features you want.
