What it is
The Sanctum Market is a community Discord server dedicated to the Last Epoch trading ecosystem, specifically the Merchant's Guild Bazaar. It's not official from Eleventh Hour Games but has consolidated presence — it's where ArreatSummit sources its prices.
Main channels:
- #price-check: active traders give live price estimates for items you post.
- #big-sales-gallery: screenshots of valuable drops (T7 affixes, multi-LP uniques).
- #meta-trading: discussion of which builds are buying which items → demand meta.
- #creator-spotlight: streams and videos related to LE trading.
- #announcements: price guide updates and community events.
To join, click the invite link and accept rules. No barrier to access.
What problem it solves
Pricing precision: the in-game bazaar has no auction history. Knowing what your T6 crit chance belt is worth requires knowing the meta — this lives in Sanctum Market.
Real-time vs ArreatSummit lag: ArreatSummit's Price Guide updates hours after changes; Sanctum Market discusses prices live, useful when there are sudden shifts (post-balance change, post-event).
Big-drop discovery: seeing which rare items are dropping (and selling for how much) calibrates expectations for your own farm.
Community trader network: if you trade seriously, you get to know other traders by name and that facilitates direct deals outside the bazaar.
What people use it for
Price check before listing: post a screenshot of the item in #price-check, traders respond with a range.
Verify price before buying: ask if X price is fair before spending gold.
Stay updated on meta shifts: if a new build becomes meta and its items rise in price, you find out before it's reflected in guides.
Sell specific items: directly via DM or by posting in selling channels.
Trader networking: building relationships with high-volume traders facilitates future deals.
Who it's NOT for
- Circle of Fortune players: CoF doesn't trade. The entire server doesn't apply.
- Casuals who just level a character per season: if you won't trade, the ArreatSummit guide covers the basics.
- Players with Discord overload: if you're already in 20 servers, adding one more for trading may not be worth the noise.
- Those who prefer non-Discord tools: if Discord isn't your thing, ArreatSummit covers 80% of the use case.
How it's used in practice
Click invite discord.gg/sanctummarket.
Accept rules → see channels.
For price check: go to #price-check → post a screenshot of the item → traders respond with estimate.
To watch big drops: scroll #big-sales-gallery when you're bored.
To list an item: most selling happens via the in-game Bazaar after price-check. Discord is for validation, not fulfillment.
For community: voice channels are occasionally active during NA/EU prime time.
Honest limitations
Discord-only: no web alternative. If Discord goes down, you temporarily lose access.
English only: active traders speak almost exclusively English.
Variable quality price checks: some traders give conservative estimates, others optimistic. Cross-check with 2-3 responses ideal.
Activity bias toward NA prime time: if you play in Asian hours, response time degraded.
Loose moderation: occasional spam or scams. Verify trader reputation before large DM trades.
Cycle-dependent: prices only apply to the active cycle. Eternal Realm has a different economy (more stable but less liquid).
How to start
discord.gg/sanctummarket. Without a Discord account, you don't get in.
Recommended setup: mute notifications on all channels except #announcements (high volume).
First price check: post a screenshot of the item with context (class, target build). Wait 5-10 minutes for multiple responses.
Learn the lingo: T6/T7 affix, LP value, WW value, idol, and exalted are basic terms.
Recommended combo: ArreatSummit Price Guide for overview + Sanctum Market for validation before listing.
Don't trade without a Discord-previewed price: the difference between selling well vs cheap is just 5 minutes of price check.
