Tracker.gg — League of Legends

Per-player stats, global leaderboards, and LoL match history inside the Tracker Network

FreeMulti-gameBeginner

What it is

Tracker.gg for League of Legends is the LoL section of Tracker Network, the same company behind the trackers for Valorant, Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, Destiny 2, and other shooters. It launched its League product relatively late compared to the game's incumbents. It's free (with ads), works on the web, and offers a Windows desktop app with live in-match tracking.

It gives you player profiles with per-champion stats, match history, global and regional leaderboards, and an insights view with global champion usage and stats. It's third-party, not official to Riot.

What problem it solves

LoL shows little of your historical performance inside the client: you see recent match history but no aggregated breakdown of how you do per champion, per role, or what you lose to. Tracker.gg exposes that layer with persistent profiles and leaderboards to place you against everyone else.

Its real differentiator is consolidation: if you already use Tracker Network for other games, having your LoL stats under the same account and app saves you from jumping between separate sites per game.

How it's different

Compared to op.gg — the incumbent of LoL tracking — Tracker.gg arrives late and with less League-specific depth. op.gg and u.gg have spent years polishing builds, runes, per-patch tier lists, matchup counters, and draft analysis that Tracker.gg doesn't yet match in the LoL space.

Where Tracker.gg wins is cross-game reach: one brand, one app, and one login for LoL, Valorant, Apex, Marvel Rivals, and more. If you play several of those titles, the value is in the consistency, not in beating op.gg on its home turf.

What people use it for

  • Consolidating cross-game stats: seeing LoL in the same network you already use for Valorant, Apex, or Marvel Rivals, without switching sites.
  • Live tracking with the app: the League Tracker App for Windows updates your stats while you play the match.
  • Global and regional leaderboards: placing yourself against the top players by region.
  • Per-champion stats: reviewing your historical performance on each champion in a persistent profile.
  • Champion insights: seeing global champion usage and aggregated stats.

Who this tool isn't for

If you only play League of Legends and want the deepest tool, op.gg or u.gg will give you more: builds, runes, per-patch tier lists, and counters with years of LoL-specific iteration. Tracker.gg isn't the most complete destination for LoL in isolation.

If ads bother you or you don't want to install a desktop app for live tracking, it's not for you either — the client plus op.gg's pages cover most of what you need.

How to use it in practice

  1. Go to tracker.gg/lol and search your Riot ID (name + tagline).
  2. Review your profile: per-champion stats, match history, and leaderboard placement.
  3. For live tracking, download the League Tracker App for Windows from the site and link it to your account.
  4. Use the insights section to see global champion stats and compare your performance.
  5. If you play other Tracker Network titles, link your accounts to keep everything under one profile.

Honest limitations

  • Late to the LoL ecosystem: op.gg and u.gg have years of advantage in League-specific depth.
  • Fewer builds and runes: it's not the focus; for build optimization, other LoL tools do more.
  • Ads on the web version: like most free trackers, it's ad-supported.
  • Third-party data: information is built from public matches, not a dedicated official Riot API, so there can be gaps or latency.

How to get started

Go to tracker.gg/lol, search your Riot ID, and review your profile — no account needed to look. If you want live tracking, download the Windows app and link it. And if you already use Tracker Network for other games, sign in with the same account to consolidate everything. For deep LoL build and meta analysis, complement it with op.gg or u.gg.
