The complete Path of Exile toolkit

Path of Exile isn't played with the client alone. Between the passive tree, the trade economy, and the depth of crafting, the game assumes you'll lean on external tools. The catch is that there are dozens, and it's not obvious which ones matter or in what order to use them. This stack is the short answer: six tools that, together, cover a full league cycle without overlapping.

A league's workflow

The natural sequence starts before the league launches. You pick a build on Maxroll —where top players publish full guides with leveling, gear, and endgame— and open it in Path of Building to understand every decision, simulate changes, and see your real DPS and defenses. That's your roadmap.

Once you're in the game, poe.ninja becomes your second monitor: it tells you which builds are working, what each item is worth, and where the economy is heading. So you don't open the browser every time you find something, Awakened PoE Trade prices any item with a hotkey without leaving the game.

When you reach endgame and want to build your own gear, Craft of Exile lets you simulate crafting and estimate how much currency you'll spend before risking it for real. And throughout the league, FilterBlade keeps your loot filter tuned so the ground only shows what's worth picking up.
