RE:FRAMED

Clean, modern loadout builder — the tidy alternative to Overframe

FreeIntermediate

What it is

RE:FRAMED is a fan-made, relatively new loadout builder and build browser for Warframe. It lets you build, explore, share and track full warframe and gear loadouts right in the browser, with a modern, minimalist interface. It keeps up with recent patches and is free.

It appeared as a tidier alternative to Overframe at a time when warframe-builder.com was already dead. Its adoption is much lower than Overframe's, but its clean design earned it a niche of users who prefer less noise.

What problem it solves

Overframe is dominant but its interface is loaded with ads, votes, comments and sections. For some players that's too much noise when they just want to build something and see it clearly. RE:FRAMED tackles that pain point with a focused, orderly builder.

It solves the same basic need —designing and saving builds without spending in-game resources— but prioritizing the user experience over community content volume.

Differentiation

Versus Overframe, RE:FRAMED wins on tidiness and loses on mass. Overframe has years of published builds, a mature voting system and reference tier lists; RE:FRAMED is cleaner but with far less accumulated community content. Overframe if you want to see what the community runs and compare by votes; RE:FRAMED if you want a distraction-free authoring tool.

What people use it for

Building full loadouts: warframe + weapons + companion in an organized view.

Exploring builds without clutter: for those who find Overframe too loaded.

Sharing builds with a link: it generates URLs to pass your loadout to others.

Tracking your own builds: save and return to your assembled loadouts.

Who this tool isn't for

If you want the largest catalog of vote-curated community builds, Overframe is still the reference — RE:FRAMED doesn't have that volume.

If you want raw DPS numbers, the Warframe Damage Calculator is more specific.

How it's used in practice

  1. Go to reframed.site.
  2. Pick a warframe or weapon and start building the loadout.
  3. Adjust mods and watch the stats change.
  4. Save or share the build via link.

Honest limitations

Low adoption: much less community content than Overframe.

English only: the interface isn't translated.

Young project: being newer, its catalog and features are still growing.

How to get started

Go to reframed.site, pick your frame and build something. No installation needed. Try it if Overframe feels cluttered and you want a cleaner planning experience.
