The complete Wuthering Waves toolkit

The six tools that cover the entire optimization cycle in WuWa: scan Echoes, decide builds, validate damage, plan Convene, farm with the map, and look up data. For the player who wants to optimize seriously without getting lost across tabs.

Wuthering Waves is one of those gacha games that practically demands external tools to play at depth. The Echo system is opaque by design: four random substats per piece, Sonata effects that combine into sets, and a crit value the game never shows you clearly. On top of that sits an endgame — Tower of Adversity at the front — that rewards fine-grained optimization and punishes teams thrown together by eye. No single tool solves all of this; what works is a stack where each piece hands its work to the next. This is the six-tool flow that covers the full cycle, from raw Echo to endgame clear.

The workflow

It all starts with WuWaBuilds, the Echo workbench and the core of this stack. You scan your Echoes with a screenshot, the tool reads them, scores them by crit value and substats, and builds the character cards you will optimize from here on. Those cards are the raw material for the rest of the flow.

With the card in hand, you open Prydwen to make the editorial decisions: which Resonators are worth investing in, which Echoes and substats to target for each, and who they pair with in team comps. Prydwen tells you what you want to build; WuWaBuilds tells you what you have.

Before burning Waveplate farming, you run through WutheringTools, the damage calculator. Here you validate how hard your actual build hits and, more importantly, which change helps most: bump a crit substat, swap your main Echo, or adjust the rotation? It saves you hours of farming in the wrong direction.

Once you know what you need, WuWaTracker steps in as the planning companion: it tracks your Convene pity, your available Waveplate, and computes the ascension materials you still need to reach the target build. It is the bridge between "I want this" and "this is what it costs me."

With the pending list ready, Qiqi's Notebook gives you the map with a checklist: where to get every material and every Echo the planner flagged as missing, farming route included.

And running through the whole process, Wuthering.gg is your quick-lookup database: kits, weapons, and Echo stats on hand whenever you need a single fact without opening five more tabs.

Why these six

  • Echoes → WuWaBuilds: the scan and scoring are the bottleneck for everything else. Without reliable cards, the other tools work blind.
  • Builds and teams → Prydwen: the decision layer. Turns "I have these Resonators and Echoes" into "this is what's worth building and why."
  • Damage → WutheringTools: the validation layer. Confirms with numbers whether Prydwen's call pays off on your specific account before you invest.
  • Convene and planning → WuWaTracker: the resource layer. Pity, Waveplate, and ascension materials — everything that defines when you can execute the plan.
  • Map and farming → Qiqi's Notebook: the execution layer. Translates the pending list into a concrete route through the world.
  • Data → Wuthering.gg: the cross-cutting reference layer. The loose fact the other five assume you already know.

Closing

The six complement each other because they cover different layers of the same problem: WuWaBuilds and Prydwen decide, WutheringTools validates, WuWaTracker and Qiqi's Notebook execute, and Wuthering.gg holds it all together with data on hand. None steps on another; each makes the next work better. Each tool has its full analysis in the codex.
