The Destiny 2 endgame toolkit

Five tools that organize Destiny 2's endgame — manage loadouts, hunt god rolls, sim weapons, and track progression. The stack for not getting lost in the inventory bullet hell.

Destiny 2's endgame is as much about management as gameplay. Between three characters, hundreds of weapons, god rolls, subclass builds, and a weekly reset that rotates activities, inventory and planning become a game of their own. Bungie's app isn't enough. This five-tool stack turns that chaos into something manageable.

The endgame workflow

The center of it all is DIM (Destiny Item Manager): it moves gear between characters, builds and saves full loadouts, and lets you manage inventory from the browser or phone without logging in. It's the tool nearly every endgame player keeps open.

To decide which weapons to chase, light.gg is the encyclopedia: it shows community-voted god rolls, every possible perk on each weapon, and what each combination is for. And before farming hours for a roll, D2 Foundry lets you simulate perk combinations and see exactly how stats change —so you know whether the roll you want is worth it.

On the progression side, BrayTech tracks triumphs, catalysts, collections, and long-term objectives per character, while D2 Checklist focuses on the weekly: which activities, bounties, and pinnacles you're missing before reset so you don't leave progress on the table.

Why these five

Each covers a distinct endgame need:

  • Inventory and loadout management → DIM
  • God rolls and database → light.gg
  • Weapon simulation → D2 Foundry
  • Long-term progression → BrayTech
  • Weekly checklist → D2 Checklist

You don't need all five to play, but together they remove almost all the management friction of endgame. Each tool has its full analysis in the codex.
